First-class Dome Car - Denali Star Gold Star Train
The Alaska Railroad builds upon its unique passenger car fleet and raises the bar for luxury rail travel with the custom double-deck dome railcars.
The GoldStar dome cars will enhance your Denali Train experience. As a GoldStar guest you will have unobstructed views and bask in luxury aboard this first-class multi-level dome railcar. The GoldStar also features exquisite Alaska decor and a private open air viewing deck, the only one of its kind.
The GoldStar Service includes a confirmed seat in the new luxury cars, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages during your journey and access to a private outdoor viewing platform reserved exclusively for GoldStar guests.
The GoldStar cars are modeled on the latest 89-foot double-deck dome cars built by Colorado Railcar. You will dine in comfort in 36 dining room seats with views through picture windows. Your dome-level reclining seats can rotate to accommodate groups of four and let you share the experience with friends. A full-time bar attendant is available to those looking for libations.
