Then, head out to Exit Glacier and enjoy a short walk along the nature trail that takes you to the face of the glacial ice. Watch for mountain goats, moose and bears. A hearty lunch will be served before you travel to the Seavey homestead and experience IdidaRide's Sled Dog tour. Our snowmobile tours take you through wide valley floors that end up at huge glaciers and icebergs. Our highly trained Snowmobile guides will bring you up to the face of these towering blue giants for the photo opportunity of a lifetime.
Trail riding will be mingled with photo stops. Cameras are a must.
Wildlife viewing opportunities include: moose, eagles, coyote, wolf, wolverine, and the state bird, the ptarmigan. The trails are usually smooth, uncongested, and have untracked powder for many days after each major snowfall.

The Chugach Mountains will surround you as you navigate your own snowmobile through trails, open fields of powder, beaver ponds, frozen waterfalls, and given the right conditions, snowmobile out to hundreds of towering blue icebergs, faces of glaciers, and amazing ice caves. Truly a "Blue Ice Paradise!" These glacial fed valleys are the only ones in North America that are accessible by guided snowmobile tours. Simply put, "It's the best tour!" Total tour time 5 hours (3 ½ hours riding time).
Slow and Easy Tour
Great for family groups with kids. Trails are usually smooth and uncongested. This tour lets you "stop and smell the roses" with plenty of photo opportunities. Your guided tour will take you thru trails, open fields, beautiful rivers, frozen waterfalls and possible wildlife sightings such as moose and eagles, wolves, and the state bird the Ptarmigan. Total tour time 3 ½ hours (2 hours riding time).
