Adventure Travel Protection Plan is one of our most customized package plans and is ideal for travelers who love adventure sports and the great outdoors. Coverage may be purchased any time up to 24 hours before departure and comes with additional benefits when purchased within 15 days of your initial trip deposit.

With Adventure Travel Protection Plan, you receive basic coverage in the event of unforeseeable trip-related expenses plus specialized coverage such as:

• License fee refund
• Sports equipment loss
• Sports equipment delay
• Coverage for many adventure sports activities typically excluded in most travel insurance plans such as mountaineering, aviation, hang gliding, skydiving, parachuting and bungee jumping.

Comprehensive non-insurance travel insurance services are included such as BagTrak®, airport transportation, hotel finder and reservations, cash transfers and more!

In addition, every Adventure Travel Protection Plan customer also has access to Adventure Traveler's 24-Hour Hotline. Hotline services include:

• Information on access issues, construction, and detour information
• Assistance locating the nearest crag, whitewater or trail
• Up-to-the-minute weather and travel advisories
• Roadside Assistance — up to $50 per occurrence for towing assistance, delivery of oil, fluid or water; fuel delivery, lock-out assistance, and jump-starts for dead batteries.

Family Coverage
Coverage for one child (age 17 and under) is included at no additional cost for each accompanying adult who purchases coverage (child must be related to primary adult listed on the enrollment form).

Purchase your Adventure Travel Protection Plan within 15 days of your initial trip deposit and you'll receive:

• Coverage for financial default of an airline, cruise line or tour operator
• A waiver of any pre-existing medical conditions that could eventually cause you to cancel or interrupt your trip (applies to the first $30,000 of plan cost)
• $50,000 Flight Guard® accident coverage for you and your family, if insured, while flying
• Missed Connection benefit increases to $500

Optional Coverages*

• Cancel For Any Reason – 50% reimbursement of nonrefundable expenses if you cancel your trip for any reason not otherwise covered under the policy, up to 48 hours prior to your departure. Only available when this plan is purchased within 15 days of initial trip payment and coverage is purchased for the full cost of prepaid trip arrangements.
• Cancel For Work Reasons – Adds coverage for work-related reasons for cancellation or interruption. Also includes Travel Assist's “Business Assistant” services* if you have work obligations during your travels. Only available when this plan is purchased within 15 days of initial trip payment.
• Umbrella Package – Medical Expense limits are doubled and coverage is upgraded to primary. 2) Emergency Medical Transportation limits are doubled and upgraded to give you the option to be evacuated home or to the hospital of your choice for covered evacuations. $25,000 of Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage will be added.
• Flight Guard® – Additional coverage up to $500,000 for a covered loss while flying.
• Car Rental Collision Coverage – $35,000 in primary coverage. Covers cost of repairs for covered collision damage to a rental car, up to the limit of coverage, for which the car rental contract holds you responsible. Subject to $250 deductible.
• Additional Sports Equipment & Personal Effects Coverage – $2,500 additional coverage.
